“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it”
Genesis ch.1 v.28
CREATION
That simply means that if we could travel at the speed of light [186,000 miles per second] it would take us 93,000,000,000 years to travel from one side of the universe to the other

The diagram to the left shows a cube with all sides 1 millimetre. This would be similar in size to a large granule of sugar
How many of these sugar granules would it take to fill the universe?
“The diameter of the observable universe is estimated to be about ... 93 billion

Just means ...

000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000
Just imagine the universe filled large granules of sugar!
Let’s assume that the earth’s population doubles every 150 years. This is a very conservative assumption since the recent trend shows a doubling every 38 years. We are told humans [modern homo sapiens] have been around for approximately 100,000 to 200,000 years. Again, let’s take a conservative period of 50,000 years.
If we start with two people (male and female obviously) and the population doubles every 150 years, we would get 332 doublings in our 50,000 years, giving us a world population ...
But that’s more people on the planet than the granules of sugar to fill the universe!!!!
This causes me to suspect that man hasn’t been on the planet that long after all!
Why is the world population so small today?
The world population in 2010 was estimated to be only 6,892,319,000
