"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ”
John 1:17
The Ribosome has read the first codon (AUG) on the mRNA and has requested that the amino acid Methionine be brought to the Production site
Ribosome
mRNA
But how do the requested amino acids get to the Production site
The amino acids are TRANSPORTED to the Production site.
The amino acids are transported by a molecule called TRANSFER RNA (tRNA)

Each amino acid (and there are 20 of them) has its own individual transporter

Specific Linking Enzyme
Anti Codon
The bonding between the tRNA and the amino acid which it transports, must be minimal [not ‘Super Glue’ but ‘post it’ glue] because the amino acid must be able to be released quickly once delivered to the ribosome
The anticodon with its 3 letters which are ‘NEGATIVE’ to the codon on the mRNA. It will recognize and verify its ‘POSITIVE’ codon match on the mRNA
tRNA is the cell’s ‘DHL’ delivery service, getting the right goods [amino acids] to the right place [the Ribosome] at the right time
